Interviewer: Why did you choose HOL Academy?
Tijani Omotayo: I love lifestyle and photography, and I can’t think of anyone that fits better than HOL Academy. The academy offers a unique blend of creative and business aspects of photography, which is essential for anyone looking to excel in this field.

Interviewer: Tell us about your experience since you started dealing with HOL Academy and how it has helped grow your brand.
Tijani Omotayo: It’s been great. The hands-on experience provided by HOL Academy gave me a clear direction in which to pursue my passion and professional goals. The mentorship and practical knowledge have been invaluable in my journey.
Interviewer: What’s your go-to lens to shoot?
Tijani Omotayo: Sigma 24-70. This lens has been a game-changer for me, allowing me to capture stunning images with clarity and precision.
Interviewer: What editing software do you like to use for your finished photos?
Tijani Omotayo: Capture One. It offers a range of powerful tools that help me bring my vision to life in post-production.
Interviewer: Advise people who want to learn photography and why they should join HOL Academy.
Tijani Omotayo: Photography is a really good career that allows you to tell your story through photographs and influence your personal life to see more than what’s in front of you. I think HOL Academy is the best for this because they don’t just teach you photography; they also cover key aspects like branding and marketing, which other photographers barely talk about.
Interviewer: Among all your work as a photographer, which is your favourite and why?
Tijani Omotayo: I have a lot of them actually. My pictures have been featured in magazines inside and outside Nigeria. The pictures I took with a popular influencer Nimiie got featured in one of India’s biggest article style guide magazines. But one stood out—the recent picture I took of Davido. It gave my page a large audience and brought a lot of opportunities for me outside Africa.
Interviewer: What’s your view on the future of photography?
Tijani Omotayo: I believe photography is taking over already, and people are starting to see the importance of photographs. The visual storytelling aspect of photography is becoming increasingly influential in our daily lives.
